Contributing to my Roth IRA

IRA contribution limits

For 2021 and 2022, the maximum contribution to all your Roth and Traditional IRAs for individuals under 50 years old is $6,000. For individuals 50 and over, the maximum contribution is $7,000.

Certain individuals may not be eligible to contribute directly to a Roth IRA due to their filing status or earned income. For questions about IRS income limits and your Roth contribution eligibility, please consult a qualified tax professional.
