Verify my rejected M1 Checking Account

If you did not correctly answer the questions during sign up, or if we are unable to verify your identify with public data sources, you will be required to submit identification verification documents.   

To finish opening your M1 Checking Account, please contact us with a copy of your non-expired Government-issued ID (driver’s license or passport) and a recent utility bill. We will get back to you within one business day to finish opening your Checking Account.  

*You’ll gain access to opening an M1 Checking Account 5 business days after you have funded your M1 Individual Brokerage Account with the minimum initial deposit of $100.
