Many gas stations have a pre-authorization hold to protect against theft.
A temporary charge will be placed on your account for a maximum of 24 hours to make sure funds are available.

The settled transaction amount is:
- The amount actually owed.
- The only amount permanently debited from your account.
There is no need to dispute the temporary hold transaction as it will be removed within 24 hours and replaced by the settled transaction amount.
