Withdrawable Cash

What is withdrawable cash?

Withdrawable cash is the amount of money in an M1 investment account that is immediately transferrable without waiting for funds to settle or sells to process. When withdrawing up to this amount, you can expect the transferred funds to arrive in an external bank account in 1-2 business days or in another M1 account in minutes.

Can I transfer more than my withdrawable cash?

Yes.

Transfers from M1 investment accounts greater than your withdrawable cash take up to 5-7 business days to complete. This allows time for any pending deposits to settle or for M1 to automatically sell off holdings to fulfill the transfer amount.

  2. Select “All transfers”

  3. Select your pending transfer and cancel

Please note: Your pending transfer will be cancelled on a best efforts basis. If your transfer is too far along in the process, you will not be able to cancel.
