Connect your bank account instantly

Using Plaid, a secure third-party bank data service, you can connect your bank account to M1 instantly.

M1 won’t store your bank credentials and you can change your connected bank if needed.

M1 works with Plaid to perform external bank account authentication and identity verification. Plaid is used by more than 7,000 apps and services and connects our clients to more than 12,000 financial institutions.

ACH limits

The daily ACH limit on transfers into your M1 High-Yield Cash Account is $50,000. If you need to transfer more than your daily ACH limit, please see the wire transfers section below.

ACH transfer timing

While bank connection is instant, transfers can take up to 4 business days to arrive in your M1 Cash Account.

Wire transfer

You can wire any deposit amount into your M1 High-Yield Cash Account.

Wire transfers complete within the same business day when your wire is initiated before 3pm CT.

Fund your M1 High-Yield Cash Account using your routing and account numbers

You can initiate deposits directly into your M1 Cash Account from your external bank using your M1 Cash Account routing and account numbers.

Your Cash Account routing and account numbers can be found by:

  1. Navigating to the Earn tab

  2. Select High-Yield Cash Account

  3. Account details

Direct deposit transfer timing

This can take up to 1-2 business days, depending on your financial institution.
