On Web or Mobile:

  • Log in to your M1 account.

  • Click or tap on Activity in the main navigation bar.

  • Review your transaction list, filtered by date, type, or account.

Note: The Activity tab is for reference and can’t be exported as a formal document.

B. Monthly Statements (For official records)

  • See Monthly Statements below for access instructions.

C. Trade Confirmations

  • See Trade Confirmations below for access instructions.

Trade Confirmations

Each time a trade is executed in your account, a trade confirmation is generated.

To access Trade Confirmations:

  1. Log in to your M1 web account.

  2. Click your profile icon (bottom left on web).

  3. Go to Documents in the profile menu.

  4. Click the Trade Confirmations tab.

  5. Browse and select the desired date.

  6. Click to view, download, or export the document as a PDF.

Notes:

  • Documents are usually available within 3 business days of a trade.

  • Included details: security name, ticker, quantity, price, order type, transaction value, related fees, settlement information, and your account number.

Monthly Statements

Monthly statements provide a comprehensive snapshot of your portfolio’s value and activity.

To access Monthly Statements:

  1. Log in to your M1 web account.

  2. Click your profile icon.

  3. Select Documents.

  4. Click the Statements tab.

  5. Select a statement by month to view.

  6. Click download or export as needed.

Notes:

  • Statements are generated within 7 business days after each month ends.

  • If there’s no account activity for the month, you will receive a quarterly statement instead of a monthly statement.

Tax Documents

All available tax documents will appear in a dedicated section during tax season.

To access Tax Forms:

  1. Log in to your M1 web account.

  2. Click your profile icon.

  3. Select Documents.

  4. Click the Tax Forms tab.

  5. Select and download/export any form you need for your records or tax filing.

Tip: For more tax document details, visit Tax Documents on M1.

Downloading and exporting documents

  • Within each Documents section, you’ll find a download or export button (usually an icon). Click to get a PDF copy for your records.

  • These PDFs can be saved to your computer or printed as needed.

How to access older documents

  • Documents Tab: Only the past 3 years of monthly statements, trade confirmations, and tax documents are available for direct download.

  • Contact M1 Client Success if you need records older than 3 years.

    • M1 retains account documents for 6 years after account closure, and support can retrieve older documents for you upon request.

Managing document delivery preferences

M1 delivers documents electronically by default. The most common reason for receiving paper statements is that you have marked certain correspondence as spam.

M1 and/or Apex Clearing is obligated to deliver the conveyed materials so that investors can make informed decisions. If M1 and/or Apex Clearing is unable to deliver correspondence electronically, paper copies will be sent through the U.S. Postal Service.

Important:

  • If emails from M1 are marked as spam or can’t be delivered, you may receive paper copies via USPS to comply with financial regulations.

  • For more on electronic delivery requirements, or to update your email address, contact M1 Client Success.
