Knowing exactly what price your trades executed at is important for tracking your investment performance, confirming order details, and gathering information for tax reporting. M1 makes it easy to review trade prices along with the quantity of shares bought or sold for each transaction.

Finding your trade price
Web
Log in to your M1 account.
In the Invest dropdown on the left sidebar, select the account with the trade.
Click on Activity along the top banner to go to your Invest Activity page.
Use the Date range and Symbol filters at the top to find the specific period/security.
Click Activity Type, deselect all except Trading.
Click on the trade you’re interested in to open detailed info.
The trade details will show:
Total amount of the order
Execution date
Executed price per share
Quantity of shares bought/sold (including fractions)
Security details
Mobile
Open the M1 app.
Go to the Invest tab and select the account you want to review.
Tap on Activity along the top banner.
Tap Filter at the bottom of the screen.
Use the Date range and Symbol fields to narrow your results to the specific trade window or security.
Under Activity, deselect all options except Trading, then tap Done.
Tap on the specific trade you’re interested in to see details.
On the trade details screen, you’ll see:
Execution date
Security name and symbol
Quantity of shares bought/sold (including fractional shares)
The execution price per share
Total dollar amount of the trade
Trade history retention
Trade activity is retained for the lifetime of your account and is accessible via Activity on both web and mobile.
For recordkeeping or tax purposes, you should always be able to retrieve at least several years of history.
Exporting trade history
On web, you can export your Activity history (including trade details) by clicking the ‘Activity Summary” download icon near the filter/search options.
Downloads are typically in .CSV format for easy import into spreadsheets or tax software.
Mobile app export functionality is limited; for detailed exports, please use web.
