Change my connected bank

If this is your first time connecting a bank with M1, check out this step by step guide. 

 

If you have an M1 Checking Account, please follow these instructions: 

When you have an M1 Checking Account, you are only able to change your bank connection on the web.  

Web

1. From the home screen, click the name of your current bank above the “Move Money” button

2. Select “Change Bank” and “Confirm”

3. Your current bank connection will become unlinked from your M1 Checking and Invest Accounts and allow you to connect a new bank account.

If you have do not have an M1 Checking Account, please follow these instructions:

Web

1. Navigate to the “Invest” tab for the account you are changing the bank connection to

2. Click the “Bank Connection” tab

3. Click “Change Bank”

4. Confirm

 

Mobile

  1. Navigate to the Invest tab for the account you are changing the bank connection to 
  2. Tap (≡) on the top left Change_Bank_WOS_Mobile_1.png
  3. Tap “Bank Connection” Change_Bank_WOS_Mobile_2.png
  4. Tap "Change Bank" Change_Bank_WOS_Mobile_3.png
  5. Confirm
