The quickest and easiest way to make payments is through the M1 app or website. To do this, you’ll need to accept the updated ACH Authorization Agreement if you haven’t already. You can find the agreement in the M1 Borrow tab, where the following pop-up message will appear prompting you to review and accept:
One-time payments:
The screenshots below show how to make a one-time payment. One-time payments made on your due date must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CT to be considered on time. Payments submitted after 11:59 p.m. CT will be credited the next business day.
Navigate to the M1 Borrow Tab and select Credit Card:
Select Make Payment:
Enter your One-Time Payment details and select Review:
Confirm your One-Time Payment details:
Auto-pay:
Setting up autopay is the best way to ensure on-time payments and avoid missed due dates, which can impact your credit score.
If you previously had autopay and opted into the ACH Agreement before your account was migrated, your autopay settings will carry over automatically to the new product.
If you did not opt into the ACH Agreement before migration, your autopay was canceled, and you’ll need to set it up again.
The screenshots below show how to view and update your current autopay settings.
Navigate to the M1 Borrow Tab and select Credit Card
Select Make Payment
Select View Auto-Pay Details at the bottom of the screen
4. Toggle AutoPay to ON
Check payments:
While anyone may choose to pay by check, those who have not opted into the ACH Agreement must do so to stay current on their payments. Checks must be received at least one day before your due date to be considered on time, as they are only picked up once daily between 10:30 a.m. and noon CT.

What if I make prepayment(s) before or on my monthly scheduled due date?
You may prepay your M1 Personal Loan in full or in part at any time without penalty. Any partial prepayment will not excuse any later scheduled payments until you pay in full.
If you make a payment before your monthly scheduled due date and your payment is for more than the amount due, your payment will be applied first to the current amount due and the extra amount, over and above the current due amount, will be applied to principal.
For example:
Payment of $100 is due on 5/20
Payment of $300 (extra) is made on 5/16 (before due date)
$100 will satisfy the 5/20 scheduled payment
$200 will be applied to your principal balance
If you make a payment on your monthly scheduled due date and the payment is for more than the amount due, your payment will be applied first to the current amount due and the extra amount, over the current due amount, will be applied to the next scheduled payment. If the payment is made in an amount that covers the current amount due as well as the next scheduled payment, any additional amount over that will be applied to principal only.
For example:
Payment of $100 is due on 5/20
Payment of $300 is made on 5/20 (on due date)
$100 will satisfy the 5/20 due amount
$100 will satisfy the 6/20 scheduled payment
$100 will be applied to your principal balance
